Kamm hove je hor kise da hor oh baitha kam kare;
Dil vich jisde pyar nahin te muhon pyar da dam bhare.
Ghat ghat janan wale agge janun ey jo gaiban da;
Bhekh kise vi kam nahin auna bhed khulega aiban da.
Dooje noon jo kahe karan lai aap na oh kam karda ey;
Samjho gerh churasi pai ke oh jamda te marda ey.
Man vich jisde har vas jaye aape ho janda nirankar;
Ohdi gal nun jehrha manne ho janda bhavsagar paar.
Banda jehrha jane tainu jehrha tainun pyar kare;
Avtar charan raj lai ke ohdi har koi berha paar kare.

Like someone doing the work which is the job of someone else;
A person having no love in his heart pretends to love by mere talk.
Before God who is omniscient and knows all about what is hidden;
False appearance will be of no avail and the evil deeds will get exposed.
The one who advises others to do something but does not act upon what he says;
Take it that he is bound to undergo the cycle of births and deaths.
The one in whose mind God dwells, he himself becomes God;
And the one who obeys him transcends the ocean of materialism.
The one who knows Thee, O’ God, and the one who loves Thee;
Avtar says, everyone gets his boat across by seeking the dust of his holy feet.

Meaning
Like someone who is doing someone else’s job about which he knows nothing; the one devoid of love in his heart, only pretends to be in love with God. But God, who is omniscient, knows all that is concealed; pretence will be of no avail to anybody and the evils will be exposed. The one who advises others but does not act upon what he says is bound to enter the cycle of births and deaths. The one in whose heart dwells God, becomes one with the Formless; And the one who obeys him transcends the ocean of materialism. The one who knows You and loves O Lord, Avtar says has the capability to provide enlightenment to anyone who seeks the dust of His feet.
